Expansion of Relationship Between the Companies To Deliver New, Innovative Solutions Directly To Hewlett Packard Enterprise Customers

BOSTON – March 3, 2017 — Tamr, Inc. announced today that Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) will resell the company’s patented data unification software to bring innovative new solutions to its customers. Through this agreement, Tamr is now part of the HPE Complete program, making it one of an elite set of technologies that HPE has validated for interoperability and chosen to resell. "HPE is a great go-to-market partner for Tamr because they understand first-hand how our data unification software powers transformational analytics," said Andy Palmer, co-founder and CEO of Tamr. "We are proud to partner with them to bring Tamr's technology to HPE customers that need innovative, cost-effective ways to unify disparate data sources to find new breakthrough business insights.”

Tamr’s software enables customers to transform their approach to data unification and uncover new analytic insights. In fact, part of HPE’s decision to resell Tamr’s solutions is due to a successful internal use of the software for its customer data integration, which found previously unavailable insights about its buyers’ journeys. Hewlett Packard Pathfinder also is an investor in Tamr and participated in the company’s $25.2 million Series B funding round in June 2015.

“At HPE, we are focused on solving clients’ business problems through innovative, compelling solutions. Partners have always been key to helping us solve these business challenges, and given the pace of change today, partnering with companies like Tamr is critical. It allows us to offer solutions that help our clients innovate at speed,” said Hedley Potts, VP, Global Solutions and Technology, EG, Hewlett Packard Enterprise. “Tamr addresses customers’ requirements by bringing together large data sets and answering questions we didn’t even know we could ask, driving new revenue streams, identifying new market segments and reducing risk. I hear from customers on a daily basis that they are keen to unlock the information they have and augment it. Data is knowledge, knowledge is power. Integration of data is critical to revealing new insight powered by HPE.”

The Tamr software platform is a modern alternative to traditional approaches to data unification. Tamr applies machine learning supplemented by customers’ expert knowledge to automate the unification of large numbers of data silos at a fraction of the time and cost of competitors. While the individual sources may be full of dirty, redundant, and noisy data, once processed by Tamr the end result is a clean, accurate, master data set that powers analytic insights that drive transformative business results. Tamr is used by innovative enterprises for a wide range of applications, including spend optimization, customer profile integration, and regulatory reporting.

HPE customers can learn more about Tamr’s data unification software platform by contacting their HPE account manager to arrange a briefing or by visiting www.tamr.com.
