EY Announces Andy Palmer, Co-Founder and CEO of Tamr as an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2020 New England Award Winner

Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) today announced that Andy Palmer, co-founder and CEO of Tamr was named an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2020 New England Award winner. The Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program is one of the preeminent competitive awards for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies. The award recognizes those entrepreneurial leaders who are excelling in overcoming adversity; financial performance; societal impact and commitment to building a values-based company; innovation; and talent management. Andy was selected by an independent panel of judges. The award was announced through the program’s first-ever virtual awards gala, hosted by Deborah Norville, anchor of Inside Edition, on October 6.

"It's an honor to win this award, and it validates the strength of Tamr’s culture as well as its business success.  Tamr’s goal is to enable the world's largest organizations to easily master their data in order to transform their data into an asset and a competitive advantage," said Andy Palmer, CEO of Tamr. "I’m lucky that I get to pursue this goal everyday with a diverse, dedicated, hard-working, and entrepreneurial team. It’s somewhat ironic that being recognized for an individual achievement like this is only possible if you surround yourself with great people. Congratulations to all to the entire class of my fellow New England Entrepreneur Of The Year winners.”

Tamr is the leading cloud-native data mastering company that accelerates data-driven business outcomes for large organizations. Industry leaders like Toyota, Societe Generale, and Johnson & Johnson trust Tamr to manage their enterprise data as an asset.

Since 1986, EY US has honored entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, spirit of innovation and tenacity have driven their companies’ success, transformed their industries and made a positive impact on their communities. Andy will go on to become a lifetime member of the esteemed multi-industry community of award winners, with exclusive, ongoing access to the experience, insight and wisdom of fellow alumni and other ecosystem members in over 60 countries — all supported by vast EY resources.
