A golden record is a unified, accurate, and reliable view of a single business entity across multiple data sources and datasets. It typically combines several source records through entity resolution and links them together with a unique, shared ID assigned by the Tamr platform (Tamr ID).

Tamr assigns a Tamr ID to every unique entity/record in the platform. The number of Tamr IDs is calculated based on the output level of mastered entities/records. In short, if you have three records that are matched and unified into a single unique record, that would use one Tamr ID.

Yes. You can add golden record (Tamr ID) capacity to an existing contract at any time.

A data product is a pre-configured, packaged application for mastering a specific business entity or domain. B2B Customers, Contacts, B2C Customers, Suppliers, Products, Locations, Healthcare Providers, and Healthcare Organizations data products—along with custom data products for any other entity—are all available from Tamr.

Tamr maintains a corpus of 500M+ referential B2B records used to verify and enrich company records out of the box, at no extra cost. To enrich from an additional third-party source, you would need to license that data from the provider directly, and you can connect it through Tamr at no additional cost.
