Tamr Updates <1 Minute: June 2025

As summer begins, Tamr continues delivering smarter, more flexible data mastering features. In this short video, we walk you through the most impactful updates released in June 2025. From streamlined address handling to config export automation, these enhancements help your team unify data with greater precision and control.

Smarter Address Standardization

Keeping addresses clean and consistent just got easier. With a new enhancement to address standardization, Tamr can automatically set the country to “US” when a valid US state is detected, even if the country field in the source data is empty or incomplete. This streamlines address data enrichment, reducing manual interventions and ensuring more reliable downstream analytics or integrations.

Schema Expansion: Address Lines 3 & 4

We’ve expanded schema support by introducing Address Line 3 and Address Line 4. These fields are now available for configuration directly from the Configure Data Product page. Whether you’re dealing with extended address formats (like suite numbers or sub-units) or preparing for global data integration, these new fields give you more flexibility. Better yet, existing publish configurations will automatically include these fields if they are present in the schema with no extra setup required.

Enhanced Cluster Verification Control

Verifying records has become even more intuitive. You now have granular control over how records are verified when moved between clusters. This gives stewards more precision and helps maintain trust in golden records without slowing down data workflow.

With new UI controls, you can choose to:

  • Auto-verify all records in the source and destination clusters
  • Selectively verify only what’s needed
Beta Feature: Export Configs as JSON

Power users and platform admins will be excited to hear that they can now export Data Product and Publish configurations as JSON. This opens new possibilities for DevOps automation, including:

  • Seamless config backups
  • Easy migration across environments
  • Version control and audit trails

While still in beta, it’s a significant step toward better configuration portability and automation for enterprise teams.
