Tamr customers can now secure webhook communications using enterprise-grade, token-based authentication methods, including signed JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) that verify the integrity and origin of each request.

Here is a real-life example: A global bank uses Tamr to master customer data and trigger events in Salesforce when golden records are updated. With token authentication, their IT security team now ensures that only trusted sources can push updates, satisfying compliance requirements while maintaining system interoperability.

Unmerge with Confidence: Tamr RealTime API Enhancements

Golden records aren’t static. New information comes in, business rules evolve, and, sometimes, matches need to be reversed. Tamr’s enhanced unmerge capabilities allow data stewards to selectively split records, with immediate impact, without disrupting other match logic or pipelines. What would happen if an e-commerce company, for example, realizes that two distinct customer accounts were mistakenly merged because of overlapping contact details? With the new API functionality, their data team can quickly unmerge the records, preserving customer trust and reducing the risk of sending the wrong marketing or transactional emails.

With the new finer-grained controls, they can now downweight signals like similar names in favor of license and National Provider Identifier (NPI) overlap, reducing manual review time and improving downstream analytics.
